The Camp Tri-Mount Alumni Association
(CTAA) is an organization of Scouts, Scouters, and others
who are dedicated to the long term survival and success of
Camp Tri-Mount. Anyone can join the CTAA, whether you have
camped at Tri-Mount or not. If you want to help ensure Camp
Tri-Mount's future, fill out an application today Available
in the downloads area!
Thousands of boys have camped at Camp Tri-Mount since 1946,
each having lasting memories of his own experiences. Our
main purpose is to provide a means for past and present
campers, staff, volunteers and other friends to share these
memories with others. By doing this, we ensure that the
tradition of good Scout camping is carried on to future
generations.
Through dues, fund-raisers, and other contributions, the
Camp Tri-Mount Alumni Association supports the Camp’s
endowment program, (the latest finance report online reports
the endowment contribution) which is designed to help solidify the
camp's financial future. Monies that are placed in this
interest-bearing trust fund can never be spent, however the
interest that is earned can be used to benefit Camp
Tri-Mount forever.
Money is also raised for our capital improvement fund. Each
year the Camp Tri-Mount Alumni Association will make a
lasting improvement to the camp using this money. Major
projects completed at camp since 1996 with help of the CTAA
include a new maintenance building and yard, visitor’s
center, family cabin, flag plaza and program barn.
The CTAA holds several annual activities. An annual reunion
at Camp Tri-Mount serves as an event where old friendships
are re-ignited, and new ones are made. In addition, the CTAA
participates in camp and council programs and fund-raisers
The CTAA publishes its own newsletter. "The Campfire" is
published no less than three times per year. It includes
important updates on CTAA, camp, Order of the Arrow, and
council business (latest newsletter being online in
downloads). In addition, it also features articles
where members can share stories that are certainly worth
retelling .
A Board of Trustees is elected annually to conduct CTAA
business throughout the year . This group consists of a
chairman, secretary , registrar , and a treasurer. Some of
our more dedicated volunteer members have also taken on
special tasks for the improvement of our association and
Camp Tri-Mount.
